The We Remember Submariners 2022 Memorial Pin represents remembrance for our brothers who have sailed on Eternal Patrol over the period 1st January - 31st December 2021, listed as the number above the dolphins. Gold Poppy recipients will have been a serving UK submariner or a current member of WRS who was also a submarine veteran. WRS have been informed of 150 submariners crossing the bar in 2021 of which, 7 qualify for a Gold Poppy. The 8th gold poppy is in remembrance of the 53 who perished aboard KRI Nanggala
The pin is sent to WRS Members who have renewed membership in 2022. It will be available for general purchase in the online shop later in 2022.

There was one submarine loss in 1922, HMS H42 that sank following a collision with HMS Versatile on 23 March 1922.
